  • Overview

    Summary of Job Title:

     

    The Area Sales Manager is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and training sales representatives
    in order to increase in the number of patients admitted for HH services as well as increasing the revenues of the agency.
    In addition to the management responsibilities the Area Sales manager maintains a small productive territory. Area Sales
    Managers bonus off of individual attainment and the attainment of subordinates.

     

    Key Accountabilities

     

    Territory Management: Component Proportion 40%

    Manage 20-30 individual accounts. Responsible for a budgeted individual quota.

    Census Growth: Component Proportion 40%
    Participates in the development of admission targets for each assigned sales representative and monitors results
    on a monthly basis.
    Utilizes the company’s software solution to monitor individual sales representative daily activities and results.
    Takes appropriate action, as needed, for individuals who fail to adequately and timely document sales activities.
    Works with the operations team to learn/understand internal clinical programs in an effort to support sales
    representatives for the successful presentation of Jordan programs to potential referral sources.
    Works with individual sales representative(s) on identifying/implementing changes needed in daily activities and
    approach to the sales process which will ensure admission goals are consistently met.
    Routinely makes joint sales calls with subordinates to provide coaching, mentoring, & support.
    Other duties/projects as assigned.
    Inter-Company Relationships: Component Proportion 10%
    Communicates with business line leaders in an effort to stay abreast of current goals and identify areas that sales
    can support the operations team members.
    Maintains knowledge of Jordan services available through Medicare Services and works with the local
    management team as new products/services become available.
    Communicates concerns to the management team with regards to referral sources and/or consumers.
    Participates in the planning of company meetings with operations / sales representatives.
    Other duties/projects as assigned.
    Administrative Responsibilities: Component Proportion 10%
    Develops & adheres to regional marketing budget through oversight of expenditures by self and subordinates.
    Interviews, hires, and trains new marketing representatives.
    Prepares/submits required reports as directed by his/her Supervisor.

    Maintains daily travel, mileage, & expense records in accordance with Jordan policies.
    Participates in marketing/operational planning meetings, as appropriate.
    Performs all duties assigned in accordance with established Jordan policies and procedures.
    Other duties/projects as assigned.
